Die Lage im Land scheint sich laut Medienberichten weiter zuzuspitzen. Menschen aus allen Gesellschaftsschichten protestieren friedlich gegen den Coup.
Wir haben unseren Partnergemeinden versprochen für die Situation zu beten. Unser Ansprechpartner schrieb gestern:
"Thank you so much for your concern and prayer for me ... and Myanmar. By God's grace, everything including the projects are going well and everyone is safe and secure ... Yes, ... banks in Myanmar closing, currently, but I hope they will reopen soon. Currently, no Western Union too. We pray to God for the horrible situation in Myanmar, and we are also longing and looking forward for help from the world/countries like Western countries, EU countries and UN. Again, thank you for your prayer for us."
